The exhibition catalog summarizes a broad and cohesive body of work spanning about 15 years and places Barak among important and interesting voices of local photography. The book, accompanying the exhibition, unfolds a framework that reflects Barak's preoccupation with issues of power, institutional historical representations, and the conceptual and visual nature of the medium of photography.
